monkey business

monkey business. this little game is good enough if you are nervous to loose some more nerves. like i am right now with all the iexplore stuff and bunch of mosquitoes fu*king around. the game is quite simple actually, maybe even too simple. the worst thing (in my humble opinion) is the fact that you can't rotate pieces you get... so not every game is solvable. to be more precise, maybe one in ten is solvable, and that is quite annoying... or that's only me. (and mosquitoes).

and, yes, the bloody thing (monkey) doesn't like to jump... so if to ground-squares are connected diagonally, forget about it - he won't cross. ... what i think is that he isn't really hungry. fu*king beast.
if you'd like to play it, click the title - it's linked with the page that hosts the game.

using internet explorer

right now, i'm doing it. feel kind of kinky... but it suck, greatly.

when you use internet explorer, you get to understand why monopolism is a bad thing. every time i use it, i get to meet another flaw of internet explorer. oh, my friends, how much i dislike it.

but i'm going to use it, just to remember how good it is to use firefox, and how happy we are to have it. (and how it is to people that are actually still using iexplore).

feel anxious for some reason. but later on i'm going to have a beer with my friend, and world should become a happier place. we'll see, however. you never know.

dive into greasemonkey

recently i met greasemonkey for the first time. actually, i only read about it, and afterward i met it. and i liked it... i had to remove it afterwards for some reasons that go beyond this blog, but i intend to reinstall it.

so, i was reading about it, and i really liked the idea i was reading back then... and now i have few of my own. and, goddamnit, i have to try it out. i just have to try using that fu*ker, for my own sake.

i searched google for 'greasemonkey' and found what i was looking for. actually, i found more than i was needing/expecting, but that's a good thing. i'm thinking if i should share it with you, but i will. later on, i maybe even do something useful with it. for now, i'm just going to take a peek, so i have one more thing to think about when i'm bored (or, which is more probable, when i have to study). click on the title of this post for 'dive into greasemonkey' web site or just keep reading this blog and you might find something. might, i repeat :).

a quote

"We all know Linux is great...it does infinite loops in 5 seconds." (Linus Torvalds about the superiority of Linux on the Amterdam Linux Symposium)

i like it :)

super tramp

Tramp, a slang term for a "loose" woman or prostitute in American English; a harlot

when i started with my return home, i had to pass trampoline installed in town park. there are actually two of them, privately owned, representing a way for someone to earn some cash. i respect that since the situation here isn't really bright.

what i also respect, even more, is the name of the one i was passing by - super tramp. considering that only kids play there, it sounds like quite perverted joke, doesn't it?
too bad my camera is somewhere else, so i wasn't able to record that moment... however, if you come by in banja luka, do come and see it... you might even want to try banjaluka's super tramp. it's legal.

and how was your day?

monster within

there is a little monster in each and every one of us. someone's is bigger than someone else's. it should be kept in mind always, and considered each time when we decide to get angry with someone.

i have mine, and i think it's not that little at all. show me yours and i'll show you mine? no, i'm eager to keep it all for myself. just told you i have one, and that's all i can give.

time flies

tempus fugit

for some strange reason, i've deleted 'tempus fugit' text 2 times. i typed id, selected it, pressed ctrl+i to make it italic, pressed 'end' to continue writing and voila, text was no more. it's a bug, maybe, but i'm too lazy to report it. let other people suffer too - it's our planet's motto (or so it seems).

so, tempus fugit. in my language it's translated, literary, as 'time flies' - hence the title of this post. what i read long time ago, in some book related to physics, is that fugere in latin means running away (again, i'm too lazy to check it on the net... try google for fugere and tell me what you found out). so, time is running away.
now, consider the saying time is money. when you connect those two you get 'money is running away' (actually, you can get plenty of permutations, but this one interests me. if you wanna mess with other, you are free to do so, but somewhere else). so, money is running away.
and that, my friends, is very true. it's running away, all the time. and that sucks.

i'm glad i shared it with someone. are you? (retro urban)

small men (and women)

small men. narrow view(s). shallow thought(s).
reading some blogs... and it would be better not to.

love is all we need. plenty of it.

end of the line

spotted a plastic cup in the corner of my toilet today. not the first time to spot it, though. it's turned upside-down because i did it. and the reason? the reason is that it is a cup that represented end of a line for few live beings. (or could have, without my intervention).

first there was a spider inside it one day, unable to get out - therefore waiting for a death of starvation. i personally wouldn't like to go that way, so i freed him. few days ago i found dead night butterfly, and i decided to stop all that. turned the thing upside-down.

now i'm thinking of that cup. what if cups also have a 'life' of some kind, and i just put it on the worst torture there is - standing upside-down?

it's still dark at 5am

that's when you know the summer is over - when it's still dark.

i don't get up that early very often, but this is the day to do some crazy things, one of them being getting up at 5am. other sitting here and blogging instead of relaxing in some other, more joyful way.

the cat, djuka, is rumbling upstairs, playing with who-knows-what. if if finish studying before 9am (which i doubt) i'll go to play with him a while. read once (or heard) how playing with a pet relaxes you. i don't listen to that kind of things usually because i despise statistic as a way of getting 'scientific' results... i always thought it degrades our science (as if sometimes it isn't just ridiculous).
anyway, this time they shot the bulls eye.

and there goes my break.

read on.

p.s. my spelling is getting better

d-day

well... the time is right for me to go to bed. i still have some 20 pages to do, but i'll leave that for tomorrow 5am.

anyone going to wish me luck? i sure will need it.

a bit disappointed

that's me with wordPress. disappointed. it's not a problem with wordPress, but with mysql database i was assigned with. it's 10 mb. (!!!) what the f**k am i going to do with 10 mb. i know, it's free, but still ... so i gave up. i'm not going to be harassed by anyone, especially buy some free service providers... if i don't have money to buy one, i'll stay where i am.

i miss being in control... i guess that's the only reason i want my own blog.

going to relax now.

confession

i have had many blogs. i’ve been unfaithful to them.

i want to stop with that and have only one blog. i want to be monobloguous. unfortunately, it’s still not time for that. first i have to proove to myself that this one will suit me well. i’m a suspicious person.

therefore, i’ll be a monoblogous for a while… i’ll link my blogs, and post same posts to all (or some) of them.

i hope they won’t take it personally.

it's not vietnam, but good morning

i had the best intention to spend some more time in bed, but my father, not knowing about my intentions, came into my room and asked me if i want coffee. i could say 'no' and continue with sleeping, but it's too hard to say 'no' to the first morning coffee, especially that one you don't have to make. and here i am now, posting my first post, preparing for the coffee.

woke up with an enormous erection (enormous in hardness part, i'm not bragging), which is a good thing, but not when you have to pee. and i really had to.
came to the toilet and saw a grasshopper inside, with one leg off. felt sorry for him and took him out of the toilet and trown him out, pissed, washed my hands, then my face. morning... i think i could learn to hate them, even if i'm not of that kind.

last night i went for a walk with my brother, carried ciclosport cn18 pedometer, but didn't have a clue how it's working... and i think it's not very precise, probably because i didn't put it well. i think brother is right - it's just not important enough. he carries it like a normal watch... good point, gotta remember that one.

ok people, coffee time.

money is comming

well, i think you can get from the title that i'm a happy person right now. i don't support the stand that money equals happiness, but when you don't have it, and you need it, then it can add to happiness.

a guy just arrived to bring me some t-shirts that are to be printed on, and also i have to do some business cards. and it costs. (him)...

i'm not going to promote my business here, but if you are interested in full-color prints (transfer paper) on t-shirts, you can address me and i can give you a web page you can find the info you need. enough of that.

i'm studying direct products of vector subspaces. ... i think it's something like that in english.

well, gotta go back to them...

no fog for you today

i'm afraid it's clear sky today, with no fox outside. too bad, i expected it to be around, now when autumn is coming.

another day. same scenario - don't need to write anything.

that's what you get when you don't follow your intentions... instead of going out, i just did 'one more click' ... definitely an addict!

so, look at this:

tiredness

my eyes feel like someone pour some grain into them... you know that feeling, when you're trying to stay awake, but your not doing such a good job?! well, i'm not sure what word to use, but i'm pretty sure in the fact i'm tired as hell. (also, i'm not very sure how tired hell actually is, but i don't want to find out).

i've been arranging with my brother a meeting downtown, a little bicycle cycle-through, but am seriously thinking of staying home and sleeping. i'm planing to get up at 7am tomorrow, which is something he won't be doing, so it's probably in my own best sake not to go... what do you think?

i spent more than half hour fighting with a matrix that i wrote incorrectly in the first place. it's easier to know then why am i having not-so-good time studying. you might think i'm stupid, because that could be one of the answers, but i'm not. i categorically say no to that.

no... only tired. very much.
once i get where i'm planning to go soon, i'll spend first few days sleeeeeeping. oh, how good a sleep can be.

good night... i'm still going for a ride.

hello there, inktomi

it appears that sudden rush on my pages stopped, so everything is back to normal now... about 10 visits per day is what you get for writing a blog of this kind. well, if that's what the situation is - so be it.

i'm having a break. gave myself a goal of 10 questions per day, but today it'll be 5. top. of course, it'll make my life miserable in the next few days, but who knows what will happen... maybe i make it. maybe i don't.

i'm sorry it's afternoon and not morning. i would be satisfied with work then :). this way.. it sucks.

the biggest problem of mine these days is the fact that i think about exams 24 hours per day. when i do relax (and that is quite often, i think) all i think about is math. damn! and if i do manage to think about something else, later on i feel guilty.

how bout i just go nuts, and finish with it?!

morning after

got stoned last night; heavily, though i don't need much to be heavily stoned. it was interesting, and i god into bed early, which is a good thing. i got up quite easily today, so i'll be able to study.

the weather on yahoo desktop says it's foggy outside, which is true. i love fox because the town looks like dressed i a veil, so peaceful.

made myself a coffee and i'm going to relax outside looking in the distance. the view from my balcony is just beautiful - you can see the whole city, together with hills surrounding it, and mountain kozara back in the distance. not a really high one, but still a mountain, still beautiful.

i'm off.

Wednesday, September 06, 2006

need few extras:

one of them is time, one of them is money. probably could come up with some more, but it would only make me more miserable. i'm coming with a cunning plan for my exam(s); going to try to pass two instead of one. one on monday and one on tuesday.
great plan, but i'm not totally sure about executability of it. (can anyone tell me the better word for executability... i'm not sure if this one exists.)

also, my plans for learning c#.net sunk with my new plans (exams & stuff), so the job-finding won't be as easy as i planned it to be. i know i'm able to work it out (c#.net), but i'm not sure if i'm persistent enough... (you know, partial quitter and stuff). and, also, would i manage to find a job as a relatively good c#.net programmer? (and when i say job i mean some 4 hours daily because my uni won't wait).

still thinking... but now i'll stop and get to vector spaces.

one minute post

my break is finishing in just a few seconds, and i'm determined to keep it (break) in a given time frame. therefore, this will be a short one.

i'm quite happy with how this day is developing. and i'll be very happy if i spend it in studying.

studying will probably be the most used word here, which is good.

read on...

good morning

so i made it. need some water now, to clean my face and wipe out the tears from my eyes, but i can call myself awake. my mission for today is clear - vector spaces (the best scenario would be to finish it all) and đuka's pills. he's 3 months old now and we think it's time to get the pills for (against) parasites.

time for toilet/washroom. have a good day

sleep time

one more post, only, before i close my eyes. so, you might call this an eyes closing post if you like. (i know i do).

i just learned how to prove that generator of minimal generator of vector space is a base of the space, and one more thing, but i don't know it in english. vector space, sounds interesting? if it does, than you are quite wrong. it's not as boring as f*, but it's not as interesting as _____ i'll leave this empty. gotta watch my language.

be good to each other, people.

study time

again.

i'm in another study frenzy. spent whole day sitting and doing nothing. blogging was the most productive thing i did. it has to stop since i have big job to do. really big.
so, will i make it? you'll be updated, as always.

just got back from downtown, late coffee. hopefully, it'll prepare myself for at least one hour of studying.

hate this!

mind changing

today i posted a firs post to my news blog, first actual post news-related. nothing special, just picked it up on the net, a news about chechnya changing it's name. doesn't really concern me, but it's the kind of thing i never actually knew, but are sometimes essential to a conversation with someone. i'll explain.

since childhood, i have never been spending too much time in front of a tv. yes, i always liked watching movies and maybe certain shows... even things like csi (that's closer to present day, but never mind) and similar... however, news never caught my eye/ear. not only news... i'm not updated in music, arts, fashion... strange sometimes, just as if i was living in a wooden box. i get all the news about the world surrounding me from my friends, from talks i catch in the bars, uni, or wherever. net is also a great source of information for me.
but the fact is that i don't collect much of it. i'm just not interested in doing it. and that's ok. really, i don't look at it like something bad. only if i wasn't interested in those things sometimes. when i listen to people talking some things, i get interested, but then i also get the idea what have i been missing for quite a while... just for being lazy.
and there comes news blog of mine. by updating it, i'll be able to follow some things... and who knows, maybe i learn something valuable too.

Monday, September 04, 2006

another blog added

hey there

it's said in the title - i added another one. about the news... for now, i'll leave it like that because i don't have time to update it. as a matter of fact, i don't really have time to update my photoblog, and maybe not even this one, which is updated pretty often. considering i'm the only one to write here, this is probably more than i can (should) afford.

i was thinking of the idea of putting political slogans here, but today, while passing by few of them, just came to the conclusion they're not worth of it. nor they are funny. just stupid in a way... hate politics.

i'm thinking of adding new template to the blog, the one that gives the opportunity to tag. today i found out i was just being stupid, and that blogger gave the users the opportunity to tag posts. if anyone there reads this: i apologize.

feeling washed out... too much coffee these days and too little sleep. probably going to break down... it'll be interesting though. i always liked my break-down-posts.

the end of a beautiful day... (the night is also beautiful)

and i don't think i'll tag my posts anymore

post no. 30

just to say that i passed an exam!!! happy days :)

however, i also found out about the exam on monday, so i have to study... seriously. so, that's it for now ... will write on later.

dog life, a remark from last night

while i was preparing to go to my bed last night, overall look of my room got to my attention. since my camera isn't here, i don't think i'm able to explain closely demonic look of it. you'll just have to trust me that only good thing about it is that there's no dead things inside.
so, spontaneously, i thought about the fact that i'm sleeping like a dog, which instantly induced a sentence in my mind, one of those that look like pulled from fight club movie.

sleep & live like a dog in order to enjoy a life of man's best friend
.

like all sentences that rush in my head from time to time, it doesn't necessarily have to mean something, but it's nice in a strange, my, way. as if someone expected something else coming from me anyway.

the fact is, indeed, that we take our friends for granted, as we do with all that's good in our lives (mostly). that way we sometimes really make ourselves non-deservers-of-friendship.

i'm lacking words.

[friendship,dog life]

one more: elections at it's best

one more thing. during my wandering today, i spotted loads of posters showing politician's ugly faces with all kind of slogans. maybe it would be a good post - to put those on blog?!

still not sleeping, and my alarm is set to 7.00am... and it's 1.20am no... happy days, what brits like to say.

but those hard-waking-up mornings have it's charm. first coffee and a book. vector spaces... still don't know what to learn and what to skip. that's what you get when you don't go to classes regularly. i think i'll be smarter next semester.

[politics]

event driven ride (or walk)

was biking back home and came to a great idea. i do miss few things so i can realize it, therefore you will have to wait.
namely: gps, and a host name to host a site that's also one of the ingredients for my idea. art project, you might call it, or just fun. ... i'm writing this just as a reminder for myself. if i decide to share it with the world, it means i'm giving it to someone else... and if i say it to someone privately, i'd have to kill him/her.

anyway, i had a great and relaxing night and really enjoyed a ride back to home. now i only need a shower and something to eat and i'm ready for bed. received bunch of visits today, not really sure why and how. someone probably liked my blog very much and put it on some address... i just might suspect who it is, but that's a secret.

i was thinking about anonymity of bloggers (such as mine). there is a reason for it, even though my anonymity is quite relative (as i mentioned it before). the fact is that i love to write 'in live stream', but also don't like to know that people know that i'm writing this. it's not that i'm ashamed of something i write, nor it is that something here isn't what i believe in... but i had bunch of blogs that somehow just started to be... less personal. and when i say less personal, i don't mean really personal, because it's not personal if anyone in the world can read it...
this one is personal because only a few people know who i am, and only a few people can put all the peaces together, and in that way this blog is a great thing.
also, it's much fun for me and a nice way to meet people who think alike. so, to mention it once again, feel free to comment, i'd be glad to respond as soon as possible.

tomorrow back to studying :( ... and exam results... wish me luck.

a walkaround, the results

i came back home tired, wet, and craving for water. that's the downside. the good thing is that i relaxed, had a few cigarettes in nice conversation and ambient, and also had a lot of fun - as it always is in good company. i've also eaten two very nice pears. if you're a modest person, can you ask for more? leave that question, here's a better one: should you?

unfortunately, my nose is still leaking, and is still annoying me. the right nostril is the one to blame for now, which is an improvement because yesterday it was right and left. it's still sunny outside, day is absolutely beautiful.
brother suggested we should go downtown and have a coffee or something the same moment we arrived home, but i calmed him down. however, i think i should call him to go now. later on i'll visit my sis, and conclude the day with words word is a happy place.

i'm playing on yahoo! answers last day or two, helping people with math... it's really fun to help people sometimes, although the environment isn't very good. so, people from yahoo!, if you're reading this, IMPROVE it... after all, it's your job.

i sound stupid now... happy people can sound like that sometimes.

[report,walk,nose]

going for a walk into the hills

just spent an hour speaking about life, existence and everything. makes you wonder about all the things we accept for granted. siddartha by h. hesse is a really inspiring book, but should be taken cautiously...

i'll write about the walk later on.

[walk]

kill your time, it's your enemy

just stumbled on labpixies, bunch of games you can add to your google, yahoo, pageflakes and so on. what a great way to amuse yourself, but i'm going to be smart and won't install it. it really is time consuming. i just tried one called round'em up and it really got me... well, i'm not going to kill my time that way.
but i remember times i used to kill loads of it with similar things. consider yahoo! pool for example. i don't even want to think how much time it wasted for me and my brother. not only time but nerves as well, as i was quite a few times pissed of by irritating people (irritating in so many beautiful ways). so, i stopped.

now i blog, which is as time consuming as those little games, but afterwards (at least) something 'stays'. and trust me, i take 'staying' seriously, since i'm not really a nomad type of person.

time for coffee and then, hopefully, linear algebra. vector spaces are next, lucky me...

[labpixies,games,time wasting]

huh, what does this button do? (question)

takes sincerely yours blogger to sleep. (answer)
it's been a long, long day. and a very demanding as well. so i'm happy to say good night, world. it's a new day tomorrow, and there's an old job waiting for me. and it's sunday. unfortunately, there is no one to blame... so i can only be quiet, and spend all my complaints here, on my blog.

free to say anything. that's what i am here, and that's why i like this place. there is few people knowing this address, people who know me, but they are rare. and sometimes i ask myself why did i let them see this... however, that theme can wait.

[good night post]

patience, test of

so i'm bored a bit and it's saturday night. saturday night. not that it means really much to me, but people take saturday night very seriously, and i like to leave that kind of impression (serious one). so, once again, saturday night.

came up with an idea, a little test of general patience of people. i put a link on my page from some other page. if you don't know which one it is, i'm not going to promote. if you know, well, nothing special really. just added it as a signature, i wasn't spamming. i was a mild and nice little human being. and it's not really a link actually, only cybrdng(dot)blogspot(dot)com, but voila... there's buch of people that weren't lazy to select it, copy it, and paste it. so, how did i managed it? easy. but let's call it a secret. it's unimportant anyway... and nothing much.

so, keep looking, who knows what you might find.

blocked nose, the treatment (by google)

i've got a advancing case of blocked nose. therefore i'm going to search for a good advice how to help myself with what i have home. since my home-pharmacy is empty, i'm hoping that water will be enough. as a matter of fact, i'm hoping that pure tap water will be enough because i'm too lazy to heat it, and it's not very nice to drink boiler water.
as a matter of fact, i'll just find a treatment i think is cool and write it here, and continue to do what i did today - drink water and suffer.

ok, here's what they say:
-first of all, it's a virus driven (cold/flu) (that's my case actually), so no antibiotics can't help you. viruses are quite sensitive to temperatures, so if you manage to heat your body above 60 degree celsius you're free. only problem is that you'll be dead as well, but it'll purify you really well.
-anyway, you can't kill them, so just give up. the only thing you can do is fight the symptoms and try to ease your suffering. the easiest way to do so is to kill yourself or to get very very drunk or high, but those are also quite bad solutions (as always, easiest ones aren't the best ones... life is a bitch, isn't it?). try going to pharmacy and get some drugs, preferably only one because mixtures can be quite tricky (same goes when you drink alcohol - don't mix!).
-drink lots of fluids so you can spend whole night going to pee every half an hour, which will keep you in good shape because it'll be the only exercise you'll be able to do. don't count alcohol in fluids (this is crap, i know, but it's also quite true...)
-take c vitamin (be advised, that little fella starts working in few days after taking, so i heard from a doctor, so don't expect miracle).
-eat garlic <- my favorite.

and that'll be it. i'm going to end now and try to find something on tv.

[blocked nose,flu,cold,treatment]

blogger beta

i don't quite get it... looks the same. of course, some new functions, but not the one i miss the most on this blog - categorizing my posts. i transferred to beta because i think i read that it'll be available, but nothing. it's not that i'm pissed, i'm just a bit disappointed.

what i'm also disappointed are the problems we had to solve in our test. i found them quite hard to solve, almost the same situation like last time - i managed to roughly put things in order, but not too precise. which is not really a good thing. and i don't know what to expect. results are on monday. if i pass, free beer for everyone.

the day is beautiful, and i caught a cold. nothing strange, if i was a character in some computer game, my health these days would be in deep red. so, my nose is leaking, and the air i inhale seems cold, while the one i'm exhaling seems hot. not good.

hungry for news people? election time in bosnia and herzegovina. yeah! that usually means party time... you can see bunch of interesting shows on tv, bunch of people arguing about things that don't really stress them out, but surely stress out 99.99% of people here, so it's the only suitable thing to argue about. and when i say i'm not interested in politics, and i don't even want to vote, i'm being blamed for being politically immature. that might be true... but it's like telling that i'm "whorely" immature because i never have sex for money... that's a good thing. (right?)
so, i'll do politics in some other life... till then, i'll just blog. and anonymously, of course. it's not like i'm really trying to stay anonymous, you can probably find my real identity if you try a bit.
but i'm closing on my intelligence agencies story, so i'll quit. (being a partial quitter and all).

be back later probably.

update: i adore the new spell checker.

[blogger beta,exam,cold,elections,politics]

firefox, not sure about the version

good evening/morning.

i've been sitting with my cousin for a duration of few cigarettes and saw quite rare scene - a fox being chased by the dog(s). i think she got out of the situation well, which is a good thing because i dislike violence.
not really important thing, but i'm mentioning it because it's the 2nd time i'm seeing a fox around here. first time was a month ago (or so) while i was relaxing on my terrace. it was around midnight then as well. therefore: foxes go out in night time.

i said it.

still nervous about the exam though, i have some 4.5 - 5 hrs of sleep and then have to get up and try to pick some more knowledge, which will surely come handy for tomorrow.
also, i decided that my 'tags' are a bit strange, and from now on will only put things that are more directly connected with a subject, i.e. what i wanted to write about (or what intended to write about - those two aren't always connected clearly, which you probably noticed already if you've been reading my blog).

i wish you all a great day, and a very lucky one for me.

partial quitter

unfortunately, i'm writing this post about myself.
just arrived home from the ride i was talking (writing?) about. before you actually get to my house, there is a quite steep ascent. well, actually, two of them. first one i usually take, but when i do it, i'm thinking about walking the next one because the 2nd one is really a hard one. however, when i get to it, somehow i'm too lazy to push my bike up and i just give some more energy into it and get up.
that's what makes me a partial quitter. on a bike, i rarely quit, even when it's smarter to do so.

in study life, however, it's a different thing. i make plans, and then execute about 50-80% of it. that one makes me a quitter. i'm going to watch a movie now, but afterwards i'll finish the lesson i was about to finish. that's the plan... i'll update the post with final result(s).

update: definitely only a partial quitter. even if i was quite sleepy, i sat in my "working chamber" and studied. for a while. ... so, this post wasn't useless.

take you to the moon and back

it appears nasa wants to send man to the moon again. (i kinda doubt that someone was actually there, but it's different topic). the mission would be warming-up for mission to mars. while that's all nice and shiny, it's a multibillion project, and contract is already won by lockheed martin. i found the picture on site that's linked to this post, and photo is from reuters.

it would be able to carry 6 men... so probably i'm not going to go there in a near future. the vehicle (a.k.a meanmachine), called orion (just like the cat in men-in-black) is planned to do it's first drivearounds (manned one) in 8 years from now (2014), and guys will take it to the moon by 2020.

so, let's all stay alive to see it happen.

i'm going for out for a little bike-ride, and for a relaxation with my sister. then some hour or two of studying and then my hardly earned beauty sleep. maybe even a post... who knows.

intelligence agencies

watched a movie about the carlos (aka jackal), infamous terrorist. what really impressed me is how intelligence agencies play their game, how they know everything and how it seems to ordinary people that they don't really exist.
and really, i know they did their share in past happenings on balkans, and they have their (big) share in all the wars and crisis around the globe, but still, when someone mentions them, people just watch him with one eyebrow lifted.

it's quite similar to farting, in a strange way. we all know and accept that people around us are farting (as opposite to knowing and not accepting the existence and action of intelligence agencies) but when they actually fart, and we got caught in gas-area, we are unprepared, as if we didn't expect it to happen. in intelligence agencies work, when it happen we don't even believe it's them who are moving the pawns... just as we wouldn't believe that person next to us farted, and would blame someone else.

i know it's kinda strange example, maybe even totally wrong, but (in a way) that's the best way to describe it...

so, beware... who knows who's listening, watching and recording around us.

a problem?

consider this: you're sitting on your terrace and studying and then comes neighbor's daughter, child of some 10-11 years, sits there and plays with a cat. however, cat isn't very friendly - he's kinda horrified by the combination of open spaces and strangers. so, he's not into it, and i'm definitely not into it because when she plays around she's distracting me from studying.

however, i find it bad to say to her 'go away'. i did that in a way, a bit subtle way, but she's not getting it. ... so, what's there to do?
i think i'm gonna nicely ask her to piss off, but i know i'm gonna feel bad about it. good start of the day, isn't it?

any suggestions for future situations (similar to this one)?

*update: problem solved by itself. she probably got bored waiting, and asked me to give her some comp. game to play. gave 'pro pinball' away :). the question remains.

1 more day to go

it's not time for writing actually, and i don't know what to write.

saw eric cartman (south park) mentioning "serbian-jewish" jokes. ... it's true what they say - the war in ex yugoslavia was great advertising trick; now everyone knows about it.

war. there's so much to write about it... i just might do that some day.
